About Us

Ollie and Seth first met while crossing Iran on the 2018 Mongol Rally.

That life-changing adventure sparked a shared passion for the absurd, the extreme, and adventure travel. But it was Seth’s yearning for an even greater challenge, a drive from London to Cape Town that truly set things in motion.

At the heart of this dream?

Drawing of a light gray Reliant Robin, facing slightly to the right.

After driving a tiny economy car from the UK to Mongolia, not just any vehicle would do for the next challenge. During that first rally, Seth spotted a Reliant Robin—an absurd three-wheeled British creation—and the idea took root.

It’s a car barely suited for UK roads, let alone the rugged, unpredictable terrain of Africa.

A Reliant Robin.

The goal?

To become the first people to drive a three-wheeled car the full length of the African continent.

Since their first adventure on the Mongol Rally, life took them down different paths.

Ollie built a social media empire in the world of sports cards, while Seth earned a degree in Politics and Journalism. Years passed. But then, one ridiculous WhatsApp message reignited it all and created…

“Hold My Gear.”

That message rekindled a friendship and launched one of the most ridiculous, ambitious, and logistically insane trips ever attempted on three wheels.

Follow along to see how this ridiculous journey unfolds.
